JIM BOB and Michelle Duggar have disturbed fans by teaching their daughter Jessa how to kiss her husband Ben in a resurfaced video.

The notoriously strict parents gave a very awkward tutorial in a throwback clip from the family’s original TLC show, 19 Kids & Counting.

Jim Bob, 56, and Michelle, 55, instructed Jessa and her then-fiance , Ben Seewald, in the video, recently shared by gossip account @withoutacrystalball.

“Let me show y’all the best way to kiss here. If you kiss straight on, your noses hit each other,” Jim Bob explained.

“So you have to turn one way and she turns the other,” Jim Bob added, as the other three burst into laughter.

“Y’all are so cute,” Jessa gushed and she and Ben held hands.

The account captioned their post: “Enjoy a few moments where the Duggars made fans cringe on their show.”

FAN CRITICISM

Fans were not enthused, as they took to the comments to rip the fundamentalists and criticize their behavior.

“Disturbing,” one put shortly, while a second ranted: “I seriously can’t stomach Jim Bob!”

“Even years ago when I loved them I cringed every second of their show,” a third admitted.

Another asked: “WHO kisses in front of their kids to teach them how??!! It’s not that difficult to figure out naturally, and it also gives off such a creepy ‘asserting dominance’ vibe. So gross.”

“Jim Boo and Shelly were/are waaaay too invested in their kids intimate moments, such as kissing, and wedding night. It definitely gave me pause back when I watched the show. I stopped watching after the parents were featured more and more on the show,” a fifth admitted.

“Michelle’s laugh and the uncomfortable perv vibe JB sets off…. Cringe,” a final noted.

JESSA’S STRUGGLE

Over the weekend, Jessa sparked concern as she revealed a secret mental health struggle in a heartbreaking video confession.

The Counting On alum opened up to her fans about her religious view on her struggles with depression.

In a nearly 25-minute video, Jessa, 29, talked to fans about her “journey from doubt and depression to grace.”

The TV star made the video in August 2020, although she re-posted it yesterday as she celebrated Easter.

The star captioned her confession: “When I was young, I ‘prayed the prayer’ and ‘asked Jesus into my heart,’ but I wasn’t truly converted.”

Jessa announced: “In this video, I open up about my spiritual journey. After years of struggling with doubts and depression, I came to truly understand the glory of the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

She continued: “This is the story of God’s grace in my life. I pray you find encouragement as you listen.”

WORRIED FANDOM

As Jessa re-shared the old content, her fans took the Reddit to re-hash their thoughts on her announcement.

One wrote: “This legit breaks my heart. I’ve been watching the early specials and I wanna steer far away from being an armchair psychologist but nevertheless some of the traits I saw in her from a young age are things I recognized within myself as a depressed child.

They said: “I wish for more for her. “

A second posted: “Generally speaking, it sounds quite scary that she’s denied herself any real help if she was depressed.”

Yet a third begged the star: “You are most likely pushing down your trauma and making it worse in the future. Just see a therapist. It won’t hurt.”
